Four to One

 

This is when we were all friends

we all got along

no drama

no fighting

no judging

just four girls having fun.

 

This is before everything fell apart

before the fighting

before the arguing

before the judging

before the complexity of life got in the way.

 

This is when life was simple.

 

This is when we all loved each other

when we would never be afraid

of the secrets others would spill.

 

This is when we didn't know.

Drama didn't exist.

Secrets were secrets.

Promises were kept.

This is not who we are anymore.
All different in so many ways.
But maybe it's better this way.
